Mechatronics Technician (Fixed Term)

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Mechatronics Technician to join our team for a 6-month contract.

 

You’ll be the hands-on support that enables our senior engineers to focus on complex design challenges.

 

You’ll assemble, test, debug, and document our robotic systems as part of an important project with a major international partner.

What You’ll Do

Assemble and build prototype robotic systems

Set up and run tests on components and systems

Debug electronics and capture data accurately

Maintain workshop equipment and development space

Write clear documentation for tests and processes

What You’ll Bring

Commercial experience as a mechatronics technician or engineer

Experience testing and debugging electronics

Competence in soldering small wires and electronic components

Ability to assemble prototype electro-mechanical systems

Strong documentation skills and structured problem-solving

Based in London and able to work in our Gospel Oak office 5 days a week

PCB rework/surface mount

Linux command line

Scripting

MCAD/ECAD tools
