The Shadow Robot Company is an established, employee-owned, international and world-leading robotics company based in London (Gospel Oak).

What software engineering at Shadow Robot looks like:
Work on stimulating problems delivering solutions using advanced robotic systems
Develop software for dexterous hand products and teleoperation systems
Collaborate with an international team of robotics specialists
Access cutting-edge hardware in our Gospel Oak office (2 minutes from the station)
Balance challenging development tasks with testing, documentation, and continuous improvement
Commercial software engineering experience, ideally with integration and testing focus
Strong C++ and Python programming skills in Linux environments
Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Professional or personal project experience developing code for robots
Problem-solving mindset with a positive outlook on solutions
Embedded programming (professional or personal projects)
Robot simulation experience
Love of learning in environments that encourage growth
Team-oriented approach with no ego
Love continuous learning and skill development
